1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Wedding Story Invites (weddingstoryinvites.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Wedding Story Invites.
2. Service Description
Wedding Story Invites is a web-based wedding invitation creation platform. Couples can select from culturally authentic templates, fill in their wedding details, upload photos, and receive a shareable link to a cinematic wedding invitation page. The invitation is a live web page accessible to anyone with the link.
3. Account Registration
To create an invite, you must register an account through our authentication provider, Clerk. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Wedding Story Invites to:
- •Upload or publish offensive, obscene, defamatory, or hateful content
- •Create invitations that impersonate another person or couple without their consent
- •Upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
- •Use the service for any illegal purpose under Indian law
- •Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- •Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All templates, designs, animations, code, and visual assets on Wedding Story Invites are the intellectual property of Wedding Story Invites and are protected under applicable copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our templates or design elements.
You retain full ownership of the content you create and upload, including your photos, text, names, and event details. By uploading content, you grant Wedding Story Invites a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (i.e., rendering your invite page).
6. Payment Terms
Publishing an invite costs a one-time fee of ₹1,999 (Indian Rupees), inclusive of all taxes. Payment is processed securely through Razorpay, which supports UPI, credit/debit cards, and netbanking. Once payment is verified, your invite is published immediately.
All sales are final. Please review our Refund Policy for details on exceptions.
7. User Content
You are solely responsible for the photos, text, and other content you upload to Wedding Story Invites. You represent that you have the right to use all content you upload and that it does not violate any third party's rights. We may review and remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
8. Invite Links
Once published, your invite link remains active and accessible as long as your account exists and the invite has not been deleted. You may edit your invite at any time after publishing without additional charges. If you delete an invite, it is soft-deleted immediately (the link stops working) and all associated data, including uploaded photos, is permanently purged after 30 days.
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep Wedding Story Invites available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service downtime.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wedding Story Invites and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your invite links will stop working and your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy. You may also delete your account at any time through the dashboard. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any payments made.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This is in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
